THE FIRST AND ONLY ORIENTAL MEDICINE UNIVERSITY IN NEVADA

Wongu University of Oriental Medicine is the first and only Oriental Medicine school in Nevada approved to grant a Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine. Wongu offers courses in Oriental Medicine, acupuncture, herbology, and much more.

Our Master of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) Degree consists of 2,500 didactic hours and 1,000 clinical hours for a total of 3,500 program hours to meet Nevada’s high standards. A four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is one of the admission requirements.

Once accepted, our experienced and caring instructors will help our students perfect their skills as they take their first steps to joining the healing community.

LET THE PIONEER CLASS BEGINS EVERYTHING

Founded in 2012 in the state of Nevada, the first state in the United States to grant licenses to practitioners of Oriental medicine, Wongu University of Oriental Medicine is the first and only Oriental Medicine school in Nevada approved to grant a Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine.

Wongu University of Oriental Medicine has been granted Candidacy status for institutional accreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM), which is the recognized accrediting agency for freestanding institutions and colleges of acupuncture or Oriental medicine that offer such programs.

The Masters’ degree – Oriental Medicine program in English of the Wongu University of Oriental Medicine has been granted Candidacy status by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM), which is the recognized accrediting agency for programs preparing acupuncture and Oriental medicine practitioners.

WHERE THE HEALING JOURNEY BEGINS

Conveniently located in Las Vegas, Wongu University of Oriental Medicine boasts of over 12,000 sq. feet state-of-the-art campus in two adjacent buildings, which house classrooms, administrative and academic offices, and a health center. Wongu provides a library, kitchen, and lounge for students to use between and after classes. Wongu’s library offers services to students by providing the most current news and information on Oriental medicine.

Wongu Health Center offers a variety of affordable acupuncture treatments and Oriental Medical care to the public.  Our experienced and caring clinical supervisors and interns will help take our patients  first step to joining the healing and healthier community.
